- Auto SSL via Let’s Encrypt and managed via WHM for each server
- All sub-sites to be created on subdomains (instead of folder paths) with each new subdomain pointing to a folder (e.g., subdomain.domain.com/ ) on the same level as the public_html folder (not a sub folder under public_html).
Security
- All passwords stored in LastPass
- Uptime monitoring via Uptime Robot & managed via MainWP/UptimeRobot integration
- Recaptcha for all site via [email protected] account
- Vulnerability scans run for each site via MainWP

Security requirements for all sites hosted on web.unbridled.com server
- SSL installed and https:// redirect established
- Public_html folder includes a .htaccess file containing the command Options -Indexes
- No .sql files stored in the public_html folder
- No WP backups stored in any public_html path. (Instead, use AWS S3 for archiving.)
- No inactive WP sites in cPanel. (Dev sites are ok.)
- All WP installs using a Login ReCAPTCHA plugin.
- All WP installs using Wordfence.
- All WP installs added to Main WP dashboard.
- All WP installs undergoing regularly scheduled maintenance. (All plugins, themes, or core files updated within last month.)
- No WP install with a generic username (e.g., admin).
- All WP installs using PHP5.6 or higher.
- All WP, database, and ssh passwords saved to LastPass.
Regular Server (webappsseccure.unbridled.com)
- Any site not meeting the criteria above must be hosted on our regular server: WebAppsSeccure.unbridledsolutions.com
Backups
- 1 daily full server backup on LiquidWeb storm server
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Login at: us-east-2.signin.aws.amazon.com and go to S3 storage
- cPanel accts (7 daily, 4 weekly, 4 monthly)
- Important folders:
- Ubs-archives – one-time archives when we take down a site
- HostingArchives – cPanel archives of each site
- SiteArchives – archives of just WP site level directory and sql database file
- ToolArchives – Archives of plugins
- Ubs-indeed – daily, weekly and monthly cPanel archives of Indeed websites
- Ubs-liquid – older archives from a server we no longer use
- Ubs-web – daily, weekly and monthly cPanel archives of all websites on dedicated web (67.227.165.24) server

- Salient is Unbridled’s WordPress theme of choice. We manage and maintain Salient licenses in our domains master list found here (request viewing permission from [email protected]).
- Site speed and optimization tested via GTMetrix
- Cloudflare used for CDN and optimizations like code minification and caching
- Comet Cache WP plugin for server side caching
- Image optimization via EWWW Image Optimizer and ImageOptim (when needed)
- Meta tagging and on-page keyword analysis via Yoast SEO
- Browserstack for cross-platform, cross-device testing and optimization
- LoadImpact for load testing – This is an expensive tool, so we only pay for months of testing as needed.
